Fleet Air Arm Museum

Our Bruton B & B landlord is on the Board of the Fleet Air Arm Museum near Yoevill in Somerset, and he kindly showed us around. It really is a great Museum.
There is a full sized model of an aircraft carrier flight deck and bridge/control tower with great sound and light show.









There is also a Concord there (fitted with flight test instruments).The cockpit looks ancient by today's "Glass cockpit"standards. But would probably be preferred by many pilots.
We pressed on into Cornwall and stayed at this highly overpriced country hotel near Bodmin Moor.
