Took another boat trip - this time in a beautiful 1890s launch (holds about 300 people. Although it had the steam engine replaced by Diesel it was virtually silent. Here is the main YMCA centre and the kids were learning how to race and doing really well considering the very light wind.
View back up lake Windermere (the largest in UK).
We also took a short ride (25 mins out + 25 mins back) in a steam train. Talk about a traditional holiday outing!
