Passed Lismore castle on the way to Killarney
- a modest Victorian pile above the trout stream which they probably owned.Then the next day arounf the (definitely deserved) famous Ring of Kerry with vaarible but not unkind weather. Very narrow roads but not too crowded.

We stopped at Bunratty castle - a brooding Norman pile - rather well done.
