Debbie returned from Edinburgh and all the family took us to a great house and gardens called Nymans. Ricard impressed us all by riding his bike there and back - about 15 miles total with a 1200ft climb. Motorists really fly along the narrow winding roads - so cycling requires nerves of steel. The rest of us were able to to fit into the family Mondeo.
The gardens are really kid friendly - here's Jessica enjoying some hide and seek.
The Topiary work was really impressive
Getting everyone together for a photo was bit like herding cats.
The house was 1/2 burnt out in a fire back in 1947 and the family never returned. Leaving lots of interesting stuff for us to look at.
