Desert and Malls

3rd & 4th Continued

Our camel was called Rocky & he needed to be with our combined wights. The desert trip was definitely a highlight. Felt like the garden fetes Shetland pony rides - hop on and walk around in  big circle following the others. Camel getting up and down were the high (and low) points. You (as well as the camel) needed to be pretty strong.

Next day we caught a hop-on, hop off 24Hr narrated tour (in 8 languages) on the "Big bus" - a double decker line with luckily downstairs and 1/2 the upstairs air conditioned. still around 45-47deg in the shade.Felt sorry for the migrant workers hand digging sand for drains, laying pavers, and pouring concrete in the midday sun. No Ramadan siestas for them.
