Sat 25th Sep Stowbridge to AyleshamLeft Ed's place after a great stay and drove to Aylesham where 19 relations were gathered to celebrate my 1/2 sister Liz's birthday. She probably would not like it if I mentioned which birthday it was.

Charlotte with many helpers prepared a fabulous meal. Two tables were required. Here I'm talking Joe (Clare's son) and Victoria (Joe's partner). Victoria told me that she nearly went to my old school Oundle but was not keen on the girl's uniform culottes :-))The
Pavlova birthday cakes (with raspberry flummery) was a great success.

Ah good! Have been waiting for these photos! Liz was very happy with the 'gathering' & am not sure that she would object to the year she has reached being published *grin*.
ReplyDeleteGuess U're probably heading to Pelyn soon, & right now Erika-B is off to South America!! Meanwhile, I'm organising travels to Svalbard & beyond for next year!!
Hope U have have better weather for the next part, but....... autumn will have really set in by now I imagine!
